Throughout the year there are several fundraising activities that N.I. Magnuson and/or the Magnuson Parent Teacher Partnership (MPTP) organize for the school.
Students have participated in a Read-A-Thon, where they were able to get pledges for reading 30 books or chapters in 15 days. The 4th Sunday of February is called Magnuson Sunday at First Lutheran Church and the students of N.I. Magnuson share their voices by singing at the services.
N.I. Magnuson participates in the Scholastic Book Fair in November and May and has received many books for the library.
NIMCS is holding our annual "Gifts for Growth" fundraiser on Friday February 15, 2008 at Jimmy's Conference & Catering.
In the summer of 2007, Tim Mahoney was the featured artist performing at the first N.I. Magnuson Summer Concert event which was open to the twin cities community.
There are also on-going fundraising opportunities that families and friends of N.I. Magnuson can support that do not cost anything.
