"Read into Spring" Read-a-Thon

The MPTP and Magnuson Christian School are excited to join together to sponsor a program which promotes literacy and encourages the lifetime skill of reading.

Our "Read into Spring" Read-a-Thon in April will be a chance to continue to turn kids onto reading and also give our community an opportunity to raise money for our school.

Each child will have a personal reading goal depending on their grade level, and there is a classroom/school goal. Your child can earn "book bucks" a free book from the Scholastic book fair in May and a classroom/school goal of a sleepover PJ party with a movie and popcorn.

Successfully reaching the combined goal relies on every student participating. Students who participate will be rewarded with a Whole School PJ Party and movie night.

This is a great event for have fun with. So start collecting pledges, and then on Monday April 14th come to the Read-a-Thon Kick Off Night at Barnes & Noble.
