Mission of the Month

Magnuson Christian School has even more to offer your child besides the subject area studies. Because  Magnuson seeks to grow the whole child there is a strong emphasis on mission projects. Each month we have a different mission project. The purpose is to help the students learn how they can help others. This allows the students to know that, even as a young person, they can make a difference in the world.

We have an adopted friend in Guatemala, Miriam, who we correspond with and support financially. The offering we receive at our Wednesday Chapel goes to Miriam's support.

Listed below are a few of the other mission projects our students have done:

    ♦ Collect for food drives
♦ Send mittens and scarves to children in need
    ♦ Send Valentines to Veterans
    ♦ Make gifts for shut-ins
♦ Make Birthday boxes for families in need
♦ Participate in Earth Day activities
