Louann Lindbeck
Magnuson School Director
I have been blessed to be the Director of MCS since it began in 2004. I have been a part of public education for many years and have worked in many areas of education before being part of the MCS Staff.
My personal education includes sociology and child psychology, counseling, and my teacher license from Augsburg College.
While teaching in the White Bear Lake Schools, I received the White Bear Lake Teacher of the Year Award and was named Teacher of Excellence by the Minnesota Teacher of the Year Program. I was nominated for several years for the National Ashland Oil Teacher Award Program. During all of my work experience, God was preparing me to do His work at Magnuson School. It is wonderful to be able to share my faith with colleagues, students, and families. I know that this is a calling by God and I am so pleased to answer the call.

First Grade Teacher (Room A)
Teaching at Magnuson Christian School gives me the wonderful opportunity to combine two things I have a passion for, teaching and children’s ministry. I have taught in public elementary schools in Minnesota and Connecticut, as a classroom teacher and a teacher of Talented and Gifted students, and been a Director of Christian Education in two churches. I also had the privilege of being at home with my own three sons, now all adults, as they were growing up.
My husband, Steve, and I live in Mahtomedi. Our favorite activities always involve spending time with our family. I feel blessed to be a part of the Magnuson family. Seeing the academic growth and development of first graders, while watching their faith in God blossom, is an amazing experience.

I have been teaching kindergarten at Magnuson Christian School since it opened in 2004. Before teaching here I taught second grade in a Lutheran School in Hawaii, worked as a Christian Education Director working with students and parents in grades K-6, and I taught Spanish for grades K-3.
I recently got married and live with my husband in Roseville. Teaching at Magnuson has been a joy and a privilege. My favorite part of teaching here is the relationships that I have formed with the students and their families being part of such a caring Christ centered environment.

Jordan Kammer
Fourth Grade Teacher
In the fall of 2011, I was blessed to have been hired at Magnuson Christian School as the 4th-7th grade science, technology, art, and 4th grade homeroom teacher. Previously, I have taught in Minneapolis Public Schools and Eden Prairie Public Schools. In Eden Prairie, I taught with a team of exceptional teachers who worked to integrate STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) into every lesson.
I am currently working towards a Master's of Teaching degree with a teaching science focus at Hamline University. I completed my Bachelor's of Arts degree at St. Olaf College. While I have a great curiosity for all of God's creation, I also love to create art. My favorite medium is soft pastels, and my artwork can be viewed atwww.jkpastels.com. I live in Minneapolis.
My favorite part of being at Magnuson is being able to share my faith with my students and to hear about theirs. There are so many situations that arise during any school day when being able to share faith in Jesus is the best answer to the problem. Teaching and learning at Magnuson is a fulfilling experience for mind, body, and soul. I am so happy to be here and to be apart of this spectacular Christian family.
