How to register
We welcome all parents and guardians to apply for enrollment at Magnuson Christian School. The following list is a guideline to the admissions process.
Each new family inquiry begins with our Director, Sue Spangenberg. The inquiry process includes gathering family and student information. Please email Sue or call her at 651-429-5349.
We encourage each inquiring family to tour our facilities. Touring the school will allow families to get a sense of life at Magnuson. We also get to know you better and answer any questions.
Families who want to enroll their child for 2016-2017 can begin the registration process by going to the 2016-2017 Online Registration page. Once the online form is completed you will be able to print the Tuition Agreement/Photo Permission Form which will need to be filled out and mailed to the school with the $90 non-refundable registration fee per student. (This fee is waived for members of First Lutheran Church.)
Registration will be confirmed via email or phone when student’s enrollment has been accepted.
Open enrollment begins January 1st, 2016.
The annual tuition for the 2016-2017 school year is
Kindergarten – $1,500 per student
Grades 1-5 – $4,900 per student
Grades 6-8 – $5,400 per student
New Student – $1,500 per student
We offer a generous multi-student discount of 25% off the total annual tuition for each additional student enrolled at MCS.
Families can earn tuition credit, while also supporting MCS, by participating in the Scrip program.
For the 2016-2017 school year, families requesting tuition assistance for a single child, OR families with multiple students, who want to request tuition assistance in addition to the multi-student discount, must submit an application to the Private School Aid Service (PSAS) by March 1, 2016.
To apply, complete a PSAS application, and mail it with the supporting documentation and application fee directly to PSAS by March 1, 2016.

* Limited tuition assistance is available, and may be awarded based on PSAS’s recommendations which are based on financial need. If you do not apply for tuition assistance by the March 1st deadline no assistance will be given and no exceptions will be made without the school board’s approval.
After applications are submitted and reviewed by the scholarship committee, parents will be sent a letter notifying them of the amount of tuition assistance awarded to their family in the spring.
